Refund Policy

The objective of Armed Personal Defense is to provide our students and customers with the highest quality Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit training possible. Our training is presented for lawful purposes only.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any Armed Personal Defense course for any reason at the sole discretion of the instructor or Armed Personal Defense management.

We follow these policies strictly to ensure we can deliver the highest quality of training.

  1. Armed Personal Defense reserves the right to change our course fees or payment/registration policies at any time.
  2. You won’t be able to pick your weather for a gunfight, so we will conduct training under any conditions (hot, cold, rainy). Armed Personal Defense will not issue refunds because of bad weather, so please don’t call asking if we will be holding the class if the weather is bad. We will be there and expect you to be there as well. If the weather conditions make it unsafe to continue the course, the instructor will make an onsite decision about whether to cancel or continue the course.
  3. Positions in the courses are sold on a first come basis.  Payment of the course fee is required to hold your place in class.  You may register on our website, by telephone, or by USPS mail.  As many of our courses fill up early, its to your benefit to enroll as soon as you can. We will not hold a spot without payment.
  4. “No-Shows Get No Refund”. Any payment from students who do not show on the day of the course will be forfeited. This includes course credit transferred from a previous class. We feel this is only fair since once a class starts we cannot sell a seat in that class again.
  5.  Cancellation of the course by Armed Personal Defense will result in a full refund.   If any enrolled student cannot be contacted by the date of the proposed class, the student's refund will convert into a class credit to be used on a future class.  Refunds for cancelled classes will be issued within 5 days of notice of cancellation.
  6. Armed Personal Defense has the following refund policy for cancellation by students enrolled in our classes:
    • Registrations for CCW Courses are NON-REFUNDABLE.
    • Registrations for Advanced Training Courses canceled more than 7 days prior to the course dates will be issued a full refund.
    • Registrations for Advanced Training Courses cancelled less than 7 days prior to the course dates will be issued a 75% refund. The full value of the course may be applied to any future course.
    • Registrations for NRA Instructor Courses canceled more than 2 weeks prior to the course dates will be issued a full refund.
    • Registrations for NRA Instructor Courses cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the course dates will receive a 80% refund.
    • No shows or students only attending a portion of the course will not receive any refunds.
  7. Armed Personal Defense will do everything possible to insure that a class is held on the scheduled dates. we do reserve the right to postpone classes, substitute instructors and change the training venue of a class if it becomes necessary. We will do everything possible to give the maximum notice if such changes become necessary.
  8. If a course is filled, we may accept wait-listed registrations on a first come, first served basis. If you are place on a wait-list and the wait-list does not clear, you will be issued the option to receive a full refund on be placed on the roster for the next available course.
  9. Late registrations will be accepted on the day of the class on a ‘space available’ basis. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the class if you just ‘show up’ and we have no available space. Payment for late registrations may only be in cash.
